    Description

"Shenandoah"...the classic tune that sounds great on pedal steel. A bit of a "twist" in our approach here. We will learn the song for the great instrumental it is...and then break it down into a step-by-step lesson on the relationship of melody and background chords. A study of augmented, diminished, and suspended chords as well as counterpoint harmonies plus other natural "effects". The aim of the course is to get you to learn the "lessons" from the tune...and then apply that knowledge to other tunes. A lot of great stuff to know ! Includes a 60 min. plus CD..the demonstration track, then a play-along track followed by detailed explanations of every move. Full tablature included, of course. Designed for the basic E9th pedal/knee set-up. Nice slow tune...slow pace explanations...just nice! Produced by Rick Kornacker...from Stepping Stone Music. Thanks for looking !
